Mentoring

Jipungwayi places a strong emphasis on cultural practices and using traditional knowledge and methods to improve the sense of identity of our youth. Our mentoring services are unique in that we work closely with the young persons support system to identify their needs and goals and create a tailored program that integrates cultural practices throughout. This may include On Country sessions, utilising Elders to share cultural knowledge of kinship, songs and stories. We support re engaging youth into an educational setting, understanding that learning can happen in all forms - not just a classroom.
